On the way from Venice itself to Burano I passed by Murano the island where internationally famous glass is created.
I found the scaffolding around this glass makers studio appealed to me, and it makes a dramatic image. Among the many buildings in Murano which are in need of repair there are few currently receiving this much attention.
The image measures 33cm x 49cm. Includings its mat surround, it measures 52cm x 57cm.
