    A project of silver birch trees

    It's amazing what colours and textures can be drawn out of a silver birch tree's bark. I focussed on this for a project during lockdown. Several trees appealed to me on the long walks we do on the Surrey Hills. Others were in more urban settings, but as I get very close up to the tree there's no concern about urban intrusions.
